Cassie Arrington
High School Head Director

Mrs. Arrington began teaching in 2009 and has successfully taught middle school and high school choir in Grand Prairie, Waxahachie, and Mansfield ISDs prior to coming back home to Red Oak. (She is a class of 2002 Red Oak ISD alumna! Go Hawks!) Her choirs have consistently achieved high ratings at UIL Concert and Sight-reading evaluations. She has a Master's Degree in Music Education from UT Arlington, and a Bachelor of Music also from UT Arlington. She stays active as a performer in a few area choirs, most notably the Arlington Master Chorale. She lives with her husband, Chris, who is a middle school athletic coordinator in another nearby school district, and their beloved dog, Abbey.

Reagan Potter
High School Associate Director
Mrs. Potter is beginning her third year in the classroom! She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music Education with a Vocal Concentration. At UNT she sang in the premiere ensembles A Cappella and Vox Aquilae, and traveled with her choir to sing. Potter taught private voice lessons for several years during college, and is very passionate about students learning proper vocal technique and musicianship. She is an active performer and is involved with community choirs in the Dallas city area where her and her husband reside.

Jena Bowling
Red Oak Middle School Director

Mrs. Bowling is beginning her 10th year as the head choir director at Red Oak Middle School, and her 11th year as a teacher. She is passionate about music education and believes that anyone can sing! Under her direction, the Red Oak Middle School Choirs have received consistent Sweepstakes Awards at UIL, and Superior ratings at other contests such as Epic Waters and Pride of Texas. Mrs. Bowling holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education with Vocal emphasis from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She lives with her husband, Alex, her 3 year old daughter, Susie, and their 2 dogs, Puka and Peny.

William Alverio
Joy Shaw Middle School Director
Mr. Alverio joins us from Baylor University where he graduated with his with Bachelor of Music Education (BMEd) in Choral Music, Vocal Emphasis, & English as a Second Language Supplemental Certificate, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in music education at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. William has served on the instructional staff of Baylor TIP since 2023, teaching and assisting at Super Saturdays, special interest classes, and University for Young People (UYP).
