Voice Lessons

The ROISD Choir program offers private lessons to our students. 

The private lesson teachers include educators that are hand-picked by the directors. Students benefit from weekly one-on-one instruction. The private teacher is able to design a program that meets each individual student's needs, allowing each student to progress at their own pace. 

 

 Private lessons are not required but are strongly recommended. They happen during your students choir class once a week. 

 

Reasons for private lessons:

 

• Desire to learn more about the voice

• Desire to move faster than in the classroom

• Desire to learn more music

• Opportunity to be taught 1-on-1 by a professional

Voice lessons cost $20 per week and are paid for by the parents. Scholarships from the Red Oak Choir Booster Club are available through an application process.
